Power of Communication Participants

Power of Communication is an interactive, high-energy program that will give participants a simple and tailored solution to their communication in the workplace. Through the use of a professional facilitator/actor, participants will have the opportunity to practice the most challenging internal and external communication scenarios. Participants will then receive one-on-one coaching and feedback in the workshop.

Topics Include:

• Delivering a message that will influence and persuade

• Building self-awareness of communication style and habits in the workplace

• Theory and practice of building rapport and influencing different personality types

• Active listening skills

• Purposeful questioning

• Techniques for dealing with conflict

• Challenging communication simulation

Learning Outcomes

• Increase success rate of having messages heard and acted on by using flexibility and adapting to personality type

• Influence others by dealing with conflict effectively

• Practice active listening

• Practice real life work situations and set clear action plans

Target Audience

All staff benefit from enhancing their communication, both internally and externally. Participants will bring their individual, real-world scenarios and work on during the program.

Embedding

Participants can attend a 2-hour simulation / rehearsal for reality to practice a live personal scenario and receive coaching, feedback and develop new strategies.

Groups are limited to 6 participants.
